Nimoru Privacy Policy

Nimoru is made for children. We built it so that there is nothing to collect.
We do not collect any data
Nimoru does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no login, and no profiles. We do not ask for a name, an email address, a birthday, a photo, or a location.
The app works offline
All content in Nimoru, including artwork, audio, and text, is bundled inside the app when you download it, so it works without an internet connection. The app never sends anything about you or your child to us or to anyone else, and there is no Nimoru server to send it to.
The app goes online in only two places, both inside the Grown-ups area: when a grown-up opens this policy or the terms of use (shown in an in-app browser, like visiting any web page), and when a grown-up makes or restores a purchase, which Apple handles.
No third-party software
Nimoru contains no analytics software, no advertising software, no social media components, and no third-party software development kits of any kind. Nothing inside the app is operated by another company.
No advertising
Nimoru shows no ads, of any kind, ever. There is no advertising inside the app and no data is used to target advertising anywhere else.
What stays on the device
Nimoru remembers which creatures your child has discovered and which language you have chosen. This information is stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. It is never sent anywhere. Deleting the app removes it.
Purchases
Nimoru Plus is an optional purchase available only inside the Grown-ups area, behind a press-and-hold gate designed so that a young child cannot open it. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Apple's handling of purchase data is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.
Children's privacy
Nimoru is designed for children ages 3 to 5 and participates in Apple's Kids Category. Because we collect no data at all, we collect no data from children. This is consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and with the GDPR's protections for children in the European Union and the United Kingdom.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Because the app collects no data, we do not expect material changes.
